Tomato Bruschetta

I love tomatoes.  I love garlic.  I love basil.  After some careful calculations, and some extremely difficult formula manipulation, I came up with the following math formula:

Tomatoes + garlic + basil  = heavenly delicious goodness

This formula will save the human race.

You’re welcome.

Here is what you will need in order to make this heavenly delicious goodness… By the way, I did not come up with this recipe, I was busy working away on complex mathematical formulas and differential equations.  Another Annie, a much more talented one, from Annie’s eats, created this dish.

3 tomatoes, seeded and diced
2 cloves garlic, finely minced
3 tbsp. basil, minced
¼ tsp. kosher salt
Pepper, to taste
1½ tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
2 tbsp. finely grated Parmesan
Toasted baguette slices, for serving

  1. Basically, combine all ingredients in a bowl.  Mix gently.
  2. Cover bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes
  3. Spoon the tomato goodness onto toasted baguette slices.  Eat.
  4. Repeat step 3.   Don’t ever stop.
